Elantris
Brandon Sanderson's first published novel in the Cosmere, Elantris isn't quite as polished as some of his later works, but it's a great way to dip a toe into his works if you're a newcomer to the fantasy genre, or just haven't picked up a book in a while. It establishes his knack for multiple viewpoint characters, massive world-building, and rigid, but exciting magical systems. No official sequl is in the works, but may come at some point in the future.
Warbreaker
Another standalone novel, this novel introduces a character who later becomes important to another of Sanderson's series. Not to be missed if you're looking for a quick novel that doens't require other books to enjoy, or if you've read his other novels and you're ready for more. Available in its entirety here!
White Sand
If you just can't get into reading hundreds of pages of words, the White Sand graphic novels are for you. A beautiful visual of one of Sanderson's planets, each alien and daunting to newcomers, this series is a colorful presentation of the Cosmere, don't let these pass by you.
